The purpose of the Women’s Guild is to serve the Lord through Christian service, paying special attention to missions and Christian fellowship among the women of the congregation.
Women meet at lunch time to enjoy a meal together, and will regularly spend time listening to speakers, making crafts, and sharing in Bible study.
The Guild is also active with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) by keeping Mite Boxes. The purpose of mite boxes is to serve the Lord by gathering money and giving it directly to missions. These mite boxes are gathered at our regular meetings and proceeds are turned over to the international LWML of our Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
The Guild also oversees the Martin W. Rupprecht Scholarship fund which grants scholarships to those interested in full-time church work.
