Grace Lutheran Church Saint Petersburg

A recent letter to Principal Wells

When I came to visit your campus, I was amazed by the friendly people and the happy faces on the kids.

“I recently became aware of the 50-year milestone for Grace Lutheran, and I wanted to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff, past and present, for running a superb educational institution. If my memory serves me correctly, I attended Grace Lutheran from 1969-1975. I have wonderful memories of the school and the staff. The staff, curriculum, and caring environment of Grace Lutheran provided me with a sound base and spring board for my life and I have been extremely fortunate as a result. Although I do not get back to my home town of St. Petersburg as much as I would like, every time I do make it back, I always drive by to catch a glimpse of Grace Lutheran—with a smile on my face and a little longing in my heart for simpler times.

Warmest regards,

S.R.G.

God has so richly blessed my life through Grace Lutheran School. Like our students today, I received a strong academic and spiritual foundation as a GLS Wildcat years ago. As a teacher, I had the privilege of planting seeds of faith and knowledge into many young, eager minds. As a parent, I’ve experienced the dedication of our Lutheran teachers. And this year, as Director, I’m honored to be working with all Early Childhood families to meet the needs of their children. God is certainly good and He is here at work in this special place.
